I originally started this blog to help outline and underscore principles of personal finance, mostly as I discovered them, with an eye to younger folks and helping them avoid hard-fought lessons I endured over the years.
There seems to be a literary explosion of personal finance blogs and sites since I last posted here in 2006. Whether from the pain of the "Great Recession" and the shock of giving up living large, student loan debt, or baby boomers advancing into Social Security territory, a new and renewed interest seems to be blooming everywhere.
I've recovered my Blogger password, freshened the site theme, and I'm back. In future posts, I intend to explore cash flow, business start-ups and creative income generation, while reinforcing the basics of budgeting, savings and the psychology of money.
